Law Enforcement Testimony
Rodney as a police officer I want to thank you for your devolvement of the CMD program. I have been an officer for 13 years and the defensive tactics that are being taught are geared towards suspects that aren’t really fighting. That is the 97 percent of the people we deal with. The CMD program allows officers to deal with the 3 percent that will do anything not to get caught including kill the officer. CMD teaches a solid defense first and that is very important in law enforcement. As cops we don’t usually start fights so we are reacting to an aggressors action, by having a solid defense it allows the officer to survive that worst?case scenario and get into the fight faster. At my department everything is based on BJJ and one needs to know that as well but for officer safety we need a system that allows the officer to stay on his feet so they can have a complete visual of their surroundings and be able to transition to other tools if needed. CMD gives that to law enforcement. Since I began training in the CMDP two years ago my fights with suspects have ended faster with less injury to the suspect. So once again thank you, your knowledge and foresight will be responsible for saving the lives of law enforcement officers.

"Today there are many L.E. Programs on the market, but very few offer the benefits of the CMD L.E. Program. As a Police officer and Provincial Police instructor I have had the chance to asses many of these programs. It is my opinion that CMD is a unique program, that is real, 100%functional & highly evolved.
Officers can progressively build up resistance, and develop honest working knowledge of how the concepts work in the real world or street environments. Also the majority of the program utilizes gross motor movements, different ranges, as well as covering ground tactics, and controls. These are positive concepts for most police agencies as the focus of CMD will allow officers to control a subject rather than harm him.
CMD Teaches concepts that are based on real world experiences, in a way that is progressive, realistic & allows officers to develop skill that work under pressure.
It provides a structure that is grounded in defence, yet allows officers to develop the actual abilities and confidence they will need to deal with a subject who is passive, active or full on assaulting the officer. CMD will fit into any current PDT or Arrest & control program, and safety is always an issue with the CMD trainers.
As a Police instructor I am absolutely delighted to see a program like CMD. It represents an evolution in Police training for Arrest and Control.
I challenge those who truly want the best possible training for themselves, and there officers to look at the CMD L.E. program."
