The CMD® Inspiring Change From The Grass Roots & Up!
As part of our CMD® Social Consciousness and Activism Project every year we offer a limited amount of full and partial scholarships to aspiring and potential martial art instructors who need it most. We believe that there are many people out there who have a dream of coaching a martial arts based program but simply do not have the financial means or technical know how in order to accomplish them. More importantly to us it is about bringing those people in who will grow through our program to make a positive fundamental change in their future studio, their neighborhood and the society they live in at large.
If you have a dream of inspiring others to become more through martial arts based training, if you want to help people change their lives for the better by first coming home to themselves and if you know that you have what it takes for this to take place- but don’t have the financial ability to train to become a CMD® Coach or the resources and technical know how- then apply now by click the link below! 
A Message From the CMD-MA Life® Program Director
 I know better than anyone what it is to have a dream but no means to fulfill it. After been kicked out of the house at the age of 17 by an alcoholic mother, I wondered the streets with no money. I then did my compulsory stint in the military to finally been back on the streets again with no education and no money. I began my first martial art class with no money in my pocket and no students. Living at a halfway house during this same period I would cycle to the YMCA a 2-hour ride to get there and the same to get back home to the halfway house four times a week for several months.When no one would believe in me, I believe in myself. I pushed forward and persevered. I taught myself everything I know, been coached by few throughout my life. The good news is that if you have the same dream I had and the same determination, you too can achieve your goals. Only this time you don’t have to do it alone as I had too. We have a world-class martial arts program, with world-class resources and coaches. If you feel you have what it takes to make it as a CMD® Coach, but don’t have the finances- we can help you. We can’t pay your studio rent or get you a place to coach out of, but we can help you become a coach and acquire all the necessary skills to make it happen. If it means us writing letters of reference for you, sending e-mails on your behalf to places you want to or can coach out of, we can do that too.
