The options shown from each position quickly became my favorites to use. It is a great place to start if you are looking to learn more functional stuff about getting into the clinch and what to do from there from a strikers perspective. There is excellent instruction on the hows and the whys of crashing the line and getting into a thai clinch using CM1 or CM2. Lots of stuff on going between thai clinch, single neck tie and pinch headlock. Rodney shows both offensive options from these positions – headbutts, knees, elbows and chokes, as well as how to defend all those attacks. You also get to see clips of Rodney sparring, working the pads and\r\nbags as well as video from his students competing in MMA. It is a testament to his well rounded teaching that they seem to win just as many fights striking as submitting their opponents. |
